Miss Jale Canlibalik

 

With an MSc in Psychology and a BSc (Hons) degree in Media and Society from the London South Bank University, Jale worked at Charles Kendall & Partners Ltd. based in the United Kingdom. Her role there included preparing the preliminaries for tenders, putting together expressions of interests, preparing proposals in accordance with their TOR / RFP, and logistically coordinating the consultancy team. Jale joined the CTAM in April 2009 as a Project Officer for the EC funded ‘Celebrating Diversity and Volunteerism across Cyprus’ project, which is being implemented in partnership with the NGO Support Centre (www.ngo-sc.org). Her responsibility for this project includes coordinating all events for the project, organizing monthly bicommunal Network Meetings for each of the ten civil society organizations that form the foundation of the project and to direct all local and, where necessary international consultants employed to assist with the various project outputs. In December 2009 Jale was also assigned as Project Coordinator for the again EC funded ‘Internship Placement Centre’ project that the CTAM is implementing solely. She divides her time equally between the two projects and can also be found supporting local civil society organizations and peace initiatives across the island.
